I found it in a small, packed antique shop in Seville, Spain during a recent vacation<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32921.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1383\" title=\"IMG_3292\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32921.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32921.jpg 400w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32921-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The hand woven wire web\u00a0holds the many cracks in the ceramic together, enabling the bowl to be functional again. The web effect reminds me of a turtle shell pattern\u00a0and is similar to the repair on a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/?p=773\">Tuscan pottery jug<\/a> I found in Italy<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32971.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1384\" title=\"IMG_3297\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32971.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"326\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32971.jpg 326w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_32971-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 326px) 100vw, 326px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A triangular formation of unglazed bubbles on the inside show where the bowl was suspended on stilts during the firing.
