I found the newest addition to my collection of antiques with inventive repairs last Saturday at a yard sale just a few miles from my house. This dark green hand-held welding mask made of glass-reinforced plastic\u00a0by Oxweld measures 14-1\/2&#8243; high by 8-1\/2&#8243; wide<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/abaseman.tempwebpage.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3760.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2421\" title=\"IMG_3760\" src=\"http:\/\/abaseman.tempwebpage.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3760.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"585\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3760.jpg 399w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3760-204x300.jpg 204w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mask appears to have been cut down from a flip-up helmet and converted to a hand held mask.
