With cobalt blue underglazed Chinese House (aka Pagoda and Fence) decoration, derived from English Chinoiserie pieces rather than actual Chinese ornamentation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6978.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6150\" title=\"IMG_6978\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6978.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6978.jpg 399w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6978-300x235.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am surprised I have not come across more examples of miniatures and children&#8217;s items with inventive repairs, as I would imagine that slippery little fingers would surely have caused many a fragile toy to break. I just hope the children who damaged these items were not punished too severely.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6980.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6152\" title=\"IMG_6980\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6980.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6980.jpg 400w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6980-266x300.jpg 266w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Teapot measures 2-1\/2&#8243; high and was most likely made in Staffordshire between the years 1780 and 1800.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6981.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6153\" title=\"IMG_6981\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6981.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6981.jpg 399w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6981-300x235.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The simple loop handle which broke off over one hundred years ago, was replaced with a sturdy tin replacement with crimped edges and an upper support band by an itinerant tinsmith, look at the <a style=\"text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.top9rated.com\/best-power-wheels-for-kids-boys-girls\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none; color: #333;\">wild thing review<\/span><\/a>.
