This teapot, like many others in my collection, is missing its lid. As other teapots I own have replaced or mismatched lids, I find it curious that the many teapots I find missing their lids have remained lidless<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2484.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2972\" title=\"IMG_2484\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2484.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"289\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2484.jpg 399w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2484-300x217.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Teapot measures 5&#8243; tall<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2486.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2973\" title=\"IMG_2486\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2486.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"398\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2486.jpg 399w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2486-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2486-300x299.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>An identical scene on both sides depicts men and boys, some sitting around a table surrounded by many objects, seemingly a variation of the noted &#8220;hundred antiques&#8221; pattern<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2485.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2974\" title=\"IMG_2485\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2485.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2485.jpg 399w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2485-300x219.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The broken handle was replaced long ago with an existing iron handle taken from another object and adapted to fit this teapot.
