It has polychrome enamel decoration in the Famille Rose palette and an inner rim with an iron red band and gilt Greek key detailing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7423.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5604\" title=\"IMG_7423\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7423.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7423.jpg 400w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7423-300x249.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The decoration on the front of the cup shows a vase holding flowers and a box containing what looks like a teapot or an incense burner.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7429.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5607\" title=\"IMG_7429\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7429.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7429.jpg 400w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7429-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7429-300x297.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cup is unsigned and stands 2-1\/2&#8243; high, with an opening of 2-1\/2&#8243;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7427.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5605\" title=\"IMG_7427\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7427.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7427.jpg 400w, http:\/\/blog.andrewbaseman.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7427-300x251.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The remains of the original broken handle have been filed down but are still visible even after the addition of a replacement handle, made from a single piece of scrolled metal.
